    The animals have to celebrate “the hoisting of the flag” (Orwell 19).
    2. Which animals do not work as hard as the rest? Is this indicative of human behavior?
    Mollie is the animal that does not work as hard as the others. This is indicative to human behavior because people also, when they do not want to do something they make excuses too just like Mollie does.
    3. To what degree do animals learn to read?
    What the animals agree to learn to read is the Seven Commandments.

    What happens when the word of “Animal Farm” spread is that Snowball and Napoleon everyday are “sent out flights of pigeons whose instructions were to mingle with the animals on neighboring farms, tell them the story of the Rebellion, and teach them the tune of “Beasts of England”” (Orwell 23).
    2. What do the neighboring farmers have to do in order to join together against the animals?
    The neighboring farms have to learn the story of Rebellion and learn the tune of “Beasts of England”.
    3. Whose military tactics does Snowball use to defend Animal Farm? Use a quote as support.
    The military tactics that Snowball used to defend Animal Farm was from an “old book of Julius Caesar’s campaign” (Orwell 25) that he had been studying.

    The battle is called the Battle of the Cowshed and Snowball and Boxer were emerged as heroes.

    Ch.3
    1. The animals celebrated the hosting of the flag and “Republic of the Animals which would arise when the human race had been overthrown” (Orwell 20).

    2. Cat did not work as hard as the other animal. Yes, it is just like how human behave, because we make excuse and try to get away.

    3. The pigs were able to read and write perfectly, and the dogs were the second good one. The other animal were able to read A, B, C and D.

    1. Once Animal Farm had spread “Every day Snowball and Napoleon sent out flights of pigeons “ to spread about Animal Farm and tune of “Beats of England” to neighborhood farm (Orwell 23).

    2. The military tactic, which Snowball used is “old book of Julius Caesar’s campaign” (Orwell 25).

    3. The neighbor farmer, which is Mr. Pilkington and Mr. Frederick, hated each other. However, in order to recapture the farm they over came the feud between them and worked together.

    4. The battle is called the Battle of the Cowshed, and Snowball and Boxer were considered as heroes.

    1. There is a ceremony that the animals have to celebrate on Sunday, “every week without fail” (Orwell 19). Hoisting of the flag, the Meeting, and than sing.
    2.
    The cat does not work as hard as the rest. When the work was about to be done the cat “could never be found” (Orwell 19). Some people are just like that. There are people who works extra hard and there are people who do not work at all but get the same share as the rest.

    Except for pigs, dogs, donkey, and horse, the animals could not get further than letter A.

    1. When the word of “Animal Farm” spread, there was a “wave of rebelliousness ran through the countryside” (Orwell 25). The ‘Beats of England’ was spread everywhere.
    2.
    The neighboring farmers always had to think of the benefits first. When Johnson’s farm was overtaken by the animals, first thing they thought was if its going to be beneficial for them. But as the wave of rebelliousness spread across the country, they decided to join together against the animals.

    The Animal Farm was well prepared for the defense of the farm from the recapturing of human. Snowball had “studied an old book of Julius Caesar’s campaigns .[…]. in charge of the defensive operations” (Orwell 26).
    4. The battle is named the Battle of the Cowshed. Snowball and Boxer emerged as ‘Animal Hero, First Class’. The dead sheep was honored as ‘Animal Hero, Second Class’.

    2. The cat, Mollie, does not work as hard as the others. She is like a human; she works whenever she feels like it.

    1. Every sunday, there is "hoisting of the flag" (Orwell 38).
    Which animals do not work as hard as the rest? Is this indicative of human behavior?
    2. Mollie "would vanish for hours on end, and then reappear at meal-times, or in the evening after work was over" (Orwell 37). This indicates laziness of human behavior. People tend to make excuses and try to avoid things they don't want to do.
    To what degree do animals learn to read?
    3. By the end of the summer, all of the animals achieve some degree of literacy. The pigs become fluent in reading and writing, while some of the dogs are able to learn to read the Seven Commandments.

    What happens once the word of "Animal Farm" spreads? Use a quote as support.
    1. When the news of what had happened in Animal Farm had spread across half the country, the owners of he two farms which adjoined Animal Farm were "frightened by the rebellion on Animal Farm" (Orwell 45).
    What do the neighboring farmers have to do in order to join together against the animals?
    2. They merely spread rumors about the farm’s inefficiency and moral reprehensibility.

    4. The battle is called the Battle of the Cowshed. Snowball and Boxer each receive medals with the inscription “Animal Hero, First Class.” They give a hero’s burial to their only loss, a sheep.

    There is the animals have to celebrate which is "hosting of the flag" (Orwell 19) and "Republic of the Animals which would arise when the human race had been overthrown" (Orwell 20).

    The cat and Mollie does not work as hard as the rest because "when there was work to be done the cat could never be found" and Mollie "was not good at getting up in the mornings, and had a way of leaving work early" (Orwell 19).

    None of the animals could not get further than letter A, except for pigs, dogs, donkey and horses.

    The neighboring farmers have to do in order to join together against the animals is must know about the story of Rebellion and "the tune of and even the words of 'Beasts of England' " (Orwell 25).

  7. 1) The animals celebrate by bring up the flag where it “Signified the Republic of the Animals which would arise when the human race had been finally overthrown” (Orwell 20).
    2) The cat is the laziest among all the other animals, it would skip through out the day, and appear out of know where during mealtime. It is an indicative of a slacker.
    3) The animals learn to read in different levels, some better than others. The only thing that they manage to read is the Seven Commandment.

    1) The rebellion movement from the Animal Farm fears the two owners of the different farms. They were “very anxious to prevent their own animals from learning too much about it” (Orwell 24).
    2) The neighboring farmers need to combine together under the power of rage, to fight against the rebelling animals.
    3) Snowball uses the military tactics from the “old book of Julius Caesar’s” where he “was in charge of the defensive operations” (Orwell 25).
    4) Animal that emerges, as heroes are Snowball and Boxer, and the battle is called “The Battle of the Cowshed”.

  8. 1. Animals always have a ceremony which on Sundays of “every week without fail” (Orwell 19).

    2. The animal that does not work hard as the rest is the cat. When there are works to be done, cat would disappear “and then reappear at meal-times” once all the jobs were done (Orwell 19). Yes, because humans also behave the same way, we tend to participate on only the stuff that we are pleased with.

    3. Pigs and Benjamin were perfect, next the goat, then the dogs, then horses, and animals like sheep, hens, and ducks were not even able to learn the “Seven Commandments”.

    1. Once the word of “Animal Farm” spreads, “the words of ‘Beats of England’ were known everywhere” and was to be taught (Orwell 25).

    2. The neighbor farms needed to know more about the Rebellion and the tune of Beasts of England in order to join.

  9. 1. The animals celebrate “The flag was green, Snowball explained, to represent the green field of England, while the hoof and horn signified the future Republic..” (Orwell 38).
    2. Mollie was the only animal in the farm that does not do much work but still gets food like everyone else. There are people like that where one person works really hard and the other person barely works but still gets the credit.
    3. Most of the animal were not able to learn any letter that comes after A except for the pigs, dogs, donkey and horse.


    1. When ever animals hear the word “Animal Farm” they will remember “the tune of Beasts of England” (Orwell 44).
    2. The neighbor farmer was thinking about what benefits they could gets for joining Johnson's side. However, the other animal were slowly getting influence by the Animal Farm so the other farmers were worry so they decide to join together against the animal.
    3. The animals were expecting that Johnson would try to recapture the farm so they already prepare the line of defense. Snowball used “an old book of Julius Caesar's campaigns...” (Orwell 47) as a guide to make the defense system.
    4. The battle was called the “Battle of the Cowshed” and the heroes of the battle were the sheep that sacrifice himself, Snowball, and Boxer.

    1. Every sunday, they celebrate by "hoisting of the flag" (Orwell 38). They celebrate for the republic of the Animals.
    2. Cat is the least to work. They will not attend in the day, but domes out when they are going to eat meals. There were people who make other people do all the work, and after the work, he/she appears and act like he/she was one of the people who were working.
    3. By the season of autumn, all the animals were able to read and write. But there were some animals, such as pigs, goat, and dogs, were able to already read and write.

    1. The pigeons will remind, and sing to all the animal about "'Beasts of England'" (Orwell 23).
    2. What do the neighboring farmers have to do in order to join together against the animals?
    3. Snowball once learned about "Julius Caesar", so he used the idea of Caesar (Orwell 25).
    4. What is the battle called and which animals emerge as heroes?
    The battle is called the war "The Battle of the Cowshed". The animals considered Snowball and Boxer as the hero in this battle.

    1. They celebrated the success of taking over and maintaining the farm. In their first harvest, “the animals were happy as they had never conceived it possible to be” because “it was truly their own food, produced by themselves and for themselves, not doled out to them by grudging master” (Orwell 18). They celebrated their success every Sunday by “hoisting of the flag” (Orwell 19).
    2. Mollie and the cat didn’t work as hard as the rest. They made excuses so that they won’t have to work. This is similar to what humans do because there are always people who try to get away with their work.
    3. Pigs can read and write perfectly but other animals cannot really learn to do so. Especially horses and other “stupider animals, such as the sheep, hens, and ducks” couldn’t go really far with the alphabets (Orwell 21).

    Ch.4
    1. When the words spread, other farmers “were both thoroughly frightened by the rebellion on Animal Farm” and “that year a wave of rebelliousness ran through the countryside” between the animals (Orwell 24-25).
    2. They tried to spread bad rumors about the Animal Farm but failed. They also gave flogging to the animals that were caught singing the “Beasts of England” but the birds continued to sing so it didn’t really work out as well. Finally the farmers got together to recapture the farm but they failed in that too.
    3. Snowball “studied an old book of Julius Caesar” and he was “in charge of the defensive operations” (Orwell 25).
    4. The battle was called the Battle of the Cowshed and Boxer and Snowball was seen as hero’s.

    1.“The flag was green, Snowball explained, to represent the green field of England" (Orwell 20). they have on every week and never fail.

    2." it was soon noticed that when there was work to done the cat could never be found" (Orwell 19). As the human, some people always work form the beginning to the end, even more extra work, but some people always just hide in somewhere, never do the work.

    3.In the end, the pig became the best one, he can read and write, the dog was the second best one he can read A, B, C, D.

    1."Best of England" (Orwell 25) this is how they spread the Animal Farm.

    2.All the animal most know the story of Rebellion, also they song together, but the bird was not work together.

    3.Snowball "was in charge of the defensive operations" (Orwell 25). to defend the work in the farm.

    4.It was Boxer and Snowball, they were the hero in the whole farm.
